TLS Tour de Yorkshire Residents Party

On Saturday 5th May, the Tour de Yorkshire will be passing the end of the village between 2pm and 3pm. 

TLS residents will be out in force to cheer them along and share a meal afterwards.

Residents should contact the PG ladies for more information :)


Church Explorer Festival Event: Discover the Secrets of the Tombs

A church open day will be held on

Saturday 11th August 2018

from 10am until 4pm  at St Leonard's Church, TLS

The event will include guided tours and talks, children's activities, display boards, refreshments (morning coffee and afternoon tea) and a village history display in the village hall.

Friendship Lunch @ TLS

TLS Friendship Lunches take place in the village hall on the last Wednesday of each month.
The next Friendship Lunch will take place on:

Wednesday 25th April 2018 from 12 noon until 1.30pm

The cost of £5.00 per person provides a bowl of home-made soup with a bread bun, a home-made pudding and cheese and biscuits served with tea or coffee.

All proceeds from the lunches will go to St Leonard's Church funds.

Thank you to all who have supported the lunches so far.

TLS Village Hall Hire

The village hall has a functional kitchen and covers for up to 60 people. It is available for hire at £5 per hour. The hall can be booked for regular classes or one-off occasions. For further information or to make a booking, please contact Rene Bellas.
